What is Teens Who Invest's impact?
Teens Who Invest helps students build a strong foundation in personal finance and entrepreneurship, essential skills for real-world success.
Have you heard about the bill (AB 2927) passed on July 2nd by Governer Gavin Newsom?
This bill requires financial literacy to be a mandatory course in high schools after the graduating year of 2030.
→ Since this bill only targets students from the year of 2030 and so forth, we want the students graduating before that year to be given the opportunity to achieve this learning.
So...
Teens Who Invest therefore establishes that every student in the San Jose Unified District will receive a standard education of financial literacy before the year of 2030. We are bridging the gap.
We are ensuring that nobody misses out!
Our presentations teach students how to start your own business, apply financial literacy concepts through personal finance, learn about current thriving businesses, and wisely save and invest your money.
Students will be motivated to start businesses in their own lives and use their knowledge of investing and budgeting to improve their businesses!
Nobody will miss out on learning about financial literacy before 2030 and will develop their own businesses as a result!
